New Online Gambling Progressive Game Imminent
"Megaz Bucks" will raise the bar in excitement,
claims developer
Online gambling software provider Magnus Entertainment Group is
busy building some impressive publicity hype this week on a new
progressive jackpot game from its subsidiary Magnus Gaming Technologies
Ltd. Branded "Megaz Bucks", not much is known about the
game and its potential rewards despite all the publicity.
Magnus Entertainment Group (formerly California-based Veridigm
Inc.) restructured recently to operate through three wholly owned
subsidiaries: Magnus Marketing Systems, Magnus Gaming Technologies
Ltd, and Magnus Showbiz.
Without specifiying amounts, the company's press material claims
that Megaz Bucks will "....allow its gaming operating customers
to offer the largest progressive jackpot game to ever be offered
on the Internet" and "....raise the jackpot bar in the
industry creating both gaming operator and player excitement."
Progressive style jackpot games continue to generate global media
and player attention. Unlike the Powerball, MegaMillions, or EuroMillions
gaming models that have state-to-state or border-to-border restrictions,
the 'online progressive model' that the Megaz Bucks will provide
offers few restrictions, no boundaries and is applied to the 'international'
online gaming community excluding the USA, says a company press
release.
Magnus Entertainment has ambitious plans for the future, it appears.
A company spokesperson said that a premium level of products and
entertainment services will continually be developed and provided
by the Magnus Group of companies. Working through the company, gaming
operators can power websites using software that it claims generated
more than $125 million in wagering in '06.
Magnus Gaming Technologies has an important role in the group's
expansionist plans. It will be responsible for all efforts surrounding
the maintenance, creation, development, enhancement and acquisitions
of gaming related software as well as oversee sub-licensing to other
parties.
The company recently signed an exclusive, royalty bearing software
license with an unidentified supplier that enables it to sub-license,
to use all patent rights, software, applicable trademarks and other
intellectual property to which licensor has the rights.
The newly licensed software brings with it a library of 48 games
that include Table Games, Keno, Video Poker, 5 Reel Slots and 3
Reel slots. The software has been in use for more than 9 years and
provided to the licensor the platform to generate over $125 Million
in wagering last year alone. Revenues to the Magnus commenced from
May 1st, 2007.
