The Table Layout

The Numbers

The Pass and Don’t Pass Bet
These two bets are easy bets to understand. When the shooter throws the dice and get a 7 or 11, your pass bet immediately wins and your don’t pass bet loses.
When the shooter gets either 2, 3 or 12, your pass bet loses and the don’t pass bet takers win.
If any point comes up, that particular point or number must come out once more before the shooter hits a 7 or 11 in order for your pass bet to win. If and when you’re playing in a land-based casino, players who take don’t pass bets are often unpopular since you’re betting against the tide.
The Come Bet
The easiest way to understand the come bet is like this: it works just how a pass bet does but you can only make a come bet when a point has been thrown or determined. You can also add odd bets to your come bet.
The Hardaway Bet
This is a pretty difficult bet to make at the craps table but a lot of high risk players love taking this bet. With a hardaway bet, you’re betting on the dice to come up with doubles – two 4’s make a hard 8 and so on. You win if the dice makes a hard 8 before a soft 8 (like a 6 and 2) or a 7 comes out.
